1990 Toyota Celsior Type C
The introduction of the Toyota Celsior marked a new era for Toyota both in Japan and worldwide. With a highly advanced V8 engine and a slew of options it was clear that Toyota was now a player in the luxury car market across the world. The Japanese models, specifically the "Type C" had even more options that were not even available on it's US counterpart the Lexus LS400. These options included heated, massaging, and reclining rear seats, as well as 2 zone climate control with both audio and climate control located in the rear seats. Other options included power headrests, auto drive (cruise control), leather seats, and a 6 disc CD changed located in the trunk.
This Type C model Celsior is in excellent condition and it's hard to believe it has 103k miles. The paint (we believe is original) looks nearly new and has been very well maintained throughout it's life. There is no major body damage or even dings. This car also features a very rare factory optional front lip.
The interior follows suit which excellent condition leather seats. There is no cracking or rips and the leather still feels soft and in excellent condition. The passenger seat does have some discoloration due to seat covers being installed (likely from new). Otherwise, the rest of the interior is well above average. All of the panels are in very good condition with little to no wear. All of the luxury options function properly just like they did 25 years ago when this vehicle was released.
Mechanically, the car is wonderful. The engine starts and runs perfectly while the transmission shifts silky smooth. The A/C blows ice cold and power assisted steering is very light. Underneath the vehicle also looks nearly new with no rust anywhere.
