1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GX-i

This GXi is another clean example of a Japanese Classic that we’ve imported. It was base model for the R32 Skyline and provided a great entry point for the R32 platform. GXi’s came with a CA18e from the factory, which means that the SR20DET motor is a direct bolt-in swap. This vehicle is right at home for every day driving or the perfect starting point for a project.

The exterior on this vehicle appears to be in good shape for its age. It has no major dents or dings, but has some small scratches and imperfections on the body. The silver paint shines nicely and helps accentuate the sleek body lines of the R32. The vehicle is unmolested with OEM bumpers and panels.

The interior is in remarkable condition given its 25 years old. This particular shade of gray is rare and not something we often see with Skylines. The dash is in phenomenal shape and without the dreaded bubble that is so common on the R32. All door panels, seats, and carpets are in similar condition with minimal wear.

Mechanically the vehicle is sound and ready to be driven. Nothing needs to be done, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly, and the vehicle starts right away. The CA18e wasn’t the most powerful motor for its day, but it has plenty of power for everyday driving.
