1990 Nissan Skyline GTS-t Coupe
The R32 Skyline is an iconic chassis for good reason; the looks, performance, and balance equate to a wonderful driving experience. Nissan made the GTS-T equally as fun to drive as the GT-R, but for different reasons. This 1990 Skyline GTS-T has all the right parts for improving both performance and aesthetics. Finished in Nissan's desirable Midnight Blue (TH1) the exterior looks both aggressive and sutble at the same time. The paint is in great condition and shows well, and has been resprayed in the original color at some point. There are minor chips and dings associated with normal use, but no major damage and only very minor waves from the respray. The body has been modified with a host of aftermarket parts borrowed from the GTR, including the FRP front bumper, GTR style hood, GTR style wing, FRP side skirts, and a killer set of 17" Enkei PF05 wheels finished in gunmetal. Since a lot of these parts are aftermarket, the fit and finish is not quite as good as OEM parts, however, for being aftermarket parts they do fit quite well. It's hard to beat the aggressive styling of this R32!
The cabin matches the style of the exterior and has also been upgraded with a Saito 6 point bolt-in roll cage which includes removable door bars if you find it cumbersome to get in and out of the car. A Bride Brix reclinable driver's seat has been added which is very comfortable and looks the part. There is a small tear under the Bride bolster protector, but iys not noticeable when installed. The passenger seat has also been upgraded to an OEM R32 GTR seat which provides the passenger with improved bolstering over the stock unit. A Nismo gauge cluster replaces the stock unit and as such the mileage can not be verified and is being sold as unknown mileage. A double din Panasonic headunit has also been added and functions as it should. The rear interior, trunk interior panels, and rear seats have been removed to make way for the roll cage and the dash does have the dreaded dash bubble which is all but unavoidable in these 30 years old dashes. The door panels are both in pretty good condition but the passenger side does have a small indention/tear along with pull handle coming away from the panel itself.
Powering this R32 is the RB20DET inline-six-cylinder engine. The silky 2.0L is mated to a nice shifting 5-speed manual transmission, as the driving purists will notice. The engine starts up properly and sounds fantastic thanks to a 3" downpipe and 3" catback exhaust system. Other engine modifications include an HPI front mount intercooler, HPI intake, and HPI radiator. Suspension modifications include Tein adjustable coilovers, aftermarket 2 Way LSD, Nismo front lower control arms, adjustable tension arms, and a Hicas delete kit. Our trained technicians have additionally performed an engine oil and filter service, installed a brand new battery, new spark plugs, and mounted and balanced 4 brand new tires. The engine revs easily throughout the RPM range and accelerates hard under boost. In the twisties, the body stays flat and the handling prowess is impressive, especially compared to stock. You'll be hard-pressed to stop smiling after getting behind the wheel of this well-built R32 Skyline!
