This 1990 Skyline GTS-T Type-M is lightly modified and very clean. It’s been well taken care of and it shows both inside and out. The Red Pearl Metallic paint is free of significant blemishes and shines very nicely. The body is straight with no major dents or dings and is all original. OEM optional Type-M side skirts and rear spats compliment the overall appearance. The only modification on the exterior is set of 17” Beo wheels, which are filled out by the larger Type-M brakes.
The interior is also in good shape and mostly original. The cluster has been replaced with a NISMO unit along with an aftermarket steering wheel and shift knob. The seats are still in good condition and free of rips or tears. The dash does have the typical bubble but otherwise looks great. The door panels and carpet are free of major stains and show minimal wear.
Mechanically this GTS-T is sound and is nicely modified with performance in mind. The RB20DET starts right away, idles smoothly, and pulls appropriately under boost. The exhaust note is aggressive but isn’t excessively loud thanks to a 3” HKS style downpipe and upgraded 3” catback exhaust. Modifications on the induction side include a HKS blow off valve and HKS intake. Shifts through the 5 speed transmission are smooth and the clutch feels very positive. A Tein spring and strut combo and Cusco front sway bar help minimize body roll and achieve a lower ride height.
