The C33 Laurel is a four door sedan known for classic looks and B pillar-less design. Suspension is shared with the S13 chassis, so parts are cheap and readily available. From the outside this specific Laurel maintains a mostly stock appearance. Clear corner markers and a set of 17” Work CR Kais are the only modifications on the exterior. It’s been repainted at some point (color changed) and the body is in very nice shape with no major dents or dings. Although the paint shines very well, it is not perfect, and a good wet sanding/buff would further enhance the appearance. The odometer currently reads just under 41k original miles.
Inside the previous owner has made a few modifications that lean more towards functionality. A bolt-in cage has been installed, and welded in. The driver side has a fixed bucket seat and 4 pt. Sabelt harness. The passenger and rear seats are stock and in good shape. A Momo “Competition” wheel has been installed along with a Blitz boost controller and Greddy turbo timer. The floor mats are secured to the floor, but the carpet has been removed. The dash is very nice condition and is free of cracks or bubbles. OEM door panels, trim, and headliner are present and in good shape.
Mechanically is where it shines with plenty of performance upgrades. The RB20DET starts right away and pulls strong under boost. Camshafts are upgraded to aftermarket units and a HKS GT2530 turbocharger has been installed. An Apexi intake, HKS FMIC, upgraded downpipe, and full 3” exhaust have been installed to make the most of the GT2530. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and the clutch shows no signs of slipping when transferring power to the aftermarket LSD. GAB Revo coilovers, HICAS delete kit, 5 lug conversion, and larger Type-M brakes have also been added.
Overall this Laurel is well modified and purpose built. Offered at $10,995.
