A few times year we get some really clean executive sedans with stellar verified and documented miles. This 1996 Gloria is offered for sale with only 11k miles on the odometer and is finished in a classic Arctic White (QN0) Aside from some minor dings and scuffs associated with normal use, this recently serviced and legally imported Gran Turismo model is in wonderful nick. Packed full of power accessories and room for five this spacious sedan is a reliable and comfortable and affordable Japanese Classic.

The cabin condition is tip-top, with plenty of room for five, this Gloria also includes some impressive power options and safety equipment. Unlike most imports this age, this Y33 comes with standard dual SRS airbags. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are in good working order. An adjustable steering column and digital climate complete the slate of driver controls and the system is simple and intuitive to use. The a/c blows cold currently, and the display screen lacks any pixelation. If you prefer natural ventilation the OEM rainguards keep unneeded air turbulence down in the passenger cell. Faux wood grain trim breaks up the interior and surrounds the OEM head unit. The audio system does work and the radio is fairly clear and the speakers would suffice for daily use. The gray cloth interior is nearly perfect and reflects the mileage on the odometer as it relates to the condition. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are comfortable on road trips. The headliner and door cards still look good, and the carpets show well too. That's not to say that everything is perfect as the power-folding feature on the side mirrors is no longer functional. Still, at 25 years of age, the condition is about as good as it's gonna get.

Nissan built some wonderful drivetrains during this era. The VG slate of engines at this point has been dialed in perfectly by the manufacturer and ours is powered by a silky smooth VG20E. This simple, compact single-cam V6 unit is fresh off an oil and filter change and starts up quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. At only 2.0L it doesn't guzzle fuel like the turbo engines and creates less heat with fewer components. Acceleration admittedly isn't breakneck, but she makes all the power she needs to merge safely up to highway speeds. And that's the cool thing about this Gloria is that despite its somewhat substantial exterior size, it makes good use of the available ponies it has and as a platform feels generally unflappable and really forgiving on rough road surfaces. The transmission sends power to the rear wheels and shifts properly without any hesitation or delays. As mentioned the factory suspension gobbles up large potholes and seems unphased at pretty much anything it will encounter. We have replaced the right front bellow boot to shore everything up in the front end and the four-door drives like a vehicle half its age. The power steering is light and communicative enough for a luxury car and the excellent condition OEM alloys all have nearly new all-season tires mounted at all four corners.
