1987 Toyota Soarer MZ20 7MGTE Turbo R154 5 M/T
This is a very nice driving MZ20, with light modifications. If you wanted to swap a 1JZ or 2JZ it would bolt right in, all you need is a $300 bell housing for the transmission. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. It starts right up and sounds great. The transmission shifts just like a R154 should, and the engine feels good under boost. There is a Fujisubo catback exhaust installed that is fairly quiet. The car also has RSR lowering springs installed. It is also equipped with a factory LSD which works very well. Cold A/C as well!
The exterior sports a JDM lip kit we do not know the brand, and I have never seen this particular one before. It is also sporting a set of 16” 3 piece wheels (Blitz 01ish style). The paint isn’t perfect, as stated earlier for this price range of vehicles you can’t expect perfection! There is some wear on the trunk lid, and a small bit of rust starting to form on the roof. However, overall it looks great from a few feet away!
The interior is in OK condition. The OG Bride Brix feels great and is in overall good condition. There is typical wear on the upper bolster. There is also a 5 point harness included with the car which we removed to pass state inspection. A Greddy Boost gauge and Fizz Turbo Timer have been installed as well as a flip out tv/dvd/cd/md player.
