This flashy 1992 80 Series Land Cruiser turns heads on the tarmac and is a stellar off-road performer to boot. Powered by a silky-smooth six-cylinder turbo diesel, this recently serviced and legally imported truck can take you just about anywhere. Finished in a one-off Chameleon Green, the body is in good shape other than some paint imperfections, scuffs, and dings associated with normal use. Obviously, there was no color changing option for these so you can note in the door jambs the original Medium Red Pearl (3H4.) Luckily though, from the outside, you'd never be the wiser. Offered with 192K verified miles, this 4x4 is one distinctive and capable rig you won't want to miss out on!

The cabin is spacious, and teeming with power equipment and upgrades. The VX limited cars were well optioned from the factory and this one includes two functional and highly desirable options. The famed CoolBox icemaker and refrigerator combo center console work as it should as does the power sunroof. Other standard power options include adjustable mirrors, electric windows, and locks. They work as they should but the power-folding function no longer works which is relatively common to see. Interior upgrades include a sporty Italvolanti Imola Steering wheel and adjustable Recaro drivers bucket to keep the pilot from sloshing around over rough terrain. The rest of the seats are covered by expensive Clazzio S seat covers. These aren't your cheap generic slip-on style so they defend against spills, stains, and tears and add a bit of opulence to the cabin. VX Limited cars also had rear climate zone controls and front seat heaters as optional equipment found on our example. The carpets and door cards are in average shape and the headliner is clean, and upholstered tightly to the roof. That's not to say the interior is perfect, as the dash does have a pad in the center to cover some old damage, and this Land Cruiser also lacks a head unit. While some buttons are also missing from the climate control system it is still completely usable.

The mechanical underpinning is likely the main draw to this truck since this '92 has the prized 1HD-T turbodiesel. At 4.2L, this engine provides plenty of thrust and way more refinement than you might expect. Fresh off an oil service, the diesel mill cranks to life with a twist of the key. Mated to a full-time all-wheel-drive system, an automatic transmission sends power to all four drive wheels efficiently. The unit shifts as it should and is geared for highway use here stateside. Rancho suspension handles the rigors of daily use just fine and adds a bit of ground clearance. If the terrain is rugged, metal front and rear bumpers keep the body-safe. Power steering is standard and makes maneuvering this massive truck easy enough. The brakes are also more than capable and safely stop this heavyweight SUV.
