The Nissan Avenir was released in January 1991 as a well rounded family car available in several trim levels and engines. This January production 2.0Si model comes equipped with an SR20DE engine and an AWD Attesa automatic transmission. While the Avenir was never released in the US, the car shares many parts with the Nissan Sentra SE-R and Infiniti G20 from the same era which makes maintenance parts quick and easy. Well suited as a perfect daily driver, building an AWD SR20DET monster, or even for use as a rural route mail delivery vehicle. With only 47k original miles there are plenty of possibilities.
The exterior is in excellent condition, there are no major blemishes or body damage. The paint is well above average for a vehicle of this age, and shines nicely. All factory option function properly including the fog lights, and oem parking pole.
The interior is also very well maintained and is very clean. The carpet and seats are nearly new and free and any noticeable stains, tears, or wear. The dash has no cracks or bubbles, however it does have some residue from something being stuck to it. The door panels are in good condition but do show some signs of age on the rear panels. Overall a very clean low mileage interior. The automatic climate control functions well, and the oem power headlight adjustment also works properly.
Mechanically this Avenir is very sound and has obviously been well maintained over the last 25 years in Japan. The SR20DE engine starts right away and runs and drives wonderfully. The AWD model was only available in an automatic transmission and shifts are smooth and light. Overall a well optioned Avenir with many possible uses.
