You know what they say, the S chassis is the best chassis. Powered by the notorious SR20 and paired with a five speed manual transmission, this little rear wheel drive coupe is just at home on the track as it is pulling daily duty. This particular Silvia comes to us with quite a few nice modifications while retaining much of the charm that made it such a legend. The notchback styling has been taken a step further being fitted with full body aero. The D-Max style kit gives it a considerably more aggressive stance that plays off the factory body lines well. Finished in one of Nissan's more desirable colors; Pearl White (WK0.) The paint and body show well for their age. There's no clear coat peel (which are so common with these) dents, or noticeable dings. Currently sitting at 114K verified miles it has just gone through our shop and come out with a full bill of health after a fresh set of spark plugs, two tires, and an oil change.

The two tone grey and black interior has been well maintained over the years and shows very well. Both driver and passenger seats show well, with only minor bolster wear to the driver's side. Several nice upgrades have been made, most notably the Momo leather wrapped, three spoke, steering wheel. The A pillar houses a set of Greddy boost and exhaust temp gauges to keep a better eye on vitals. Otherwise the stock interior has been kept up with well as all door panels and trim pieces are in great shape and the carpet condition is above average. Like all S13's the dash does have a few cracks along the top of the gauge cluster. The automatic climate control is working properly; as are the power door locks and windows. An aftermarket Kenwood 1.5 din adds some additional functionality here in the US thanks to a 3.5mm aux input.

Under the hood you find the infamous SR20DET. Nissan's aluminum 2.0 liter 4 cylinder has become an icon and for good reason. It's wight to power delivery is phenomenal, and with the aftermarket support out there for it the sky's the limit when it comes to power. Several nice additions have been made over the years to make the SR a little more fun around town. A large Front Mount Intercooler helps keep the charge temps down and adds a mean look to the front end. The same goes for the Apexi intake which makes the turbo far more pronounced on throttle lift. To give the SR it's trademark sound axle back Trust double barrel blast pipe was added. The exhaust is certainly more throaty than what originally came from the factory. The suspension has some additional help compliments of a new set of coilovers. These help settle down the ride height over the polished 18" Volk Racing Ray's 5 spoke wheels. A Cusco strut tower brace helps to tie it all together. Shifts through the 5 speed transmission are rewarding, lacking grinds or hitches; the clutch feels excellent. Paired with the hearty SR and fresh suspension the car drives phenomenally. Between the stylish good looks and matching power there's no questions why the S chassis has become one of Nissan's trade mark vehicles.
