Exterior Overview
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to spend GT-R money to experience a Skyline that’s stylish and fun. These GTT’s are performance powerhouses, and our 2000 features facelifted styling, top-quality OEM upgrades and modifications, and a measly 59k verified and documented miles on the ticker. Set off by a series 2 front bumper, OEM optional rainguards, and a snazzy set of freshly powdercoated 18″ Tsuchiya-designed Modia KS-05 wheels, this R34 is in great cosmetic condition, save for a few minor paint chips and dings. For 25 years of use, that’s not bad, but we wanted to note a prior replacement of the rear bumper cover in Japan. Turn key, this iconic R34 is ready to canyon carve with the best of them, and will turn heads at an impromptu car meet or your local weekend Cars & Coffee. Stylish, iconic, and exhilarating to drive, it goes without saying that this Skyline is a Japanese Classic!
Interior Overview
The interior is nicely designed, and we must say it’s aged gracefully. With durable materials, useful power equipment, and driver-oriented switchgear, this cavernous coupe looks great for its age. The sport mesh seats match the aesthetic nicely, and are free of any major rips or stains. Also in good nick is the vinyl dash cover, which has resisted UV damage and distortion, including unsightly cracks or fading. Dual SRS airbags are tucked nicely into the dash, and keep your forward occupants safe. Venturing into the center stack, digital automatic climate control is easy to operate, alongside adjacent Kenwood touchscreen audio. The former doles out cold A/C and hot heat into the cabin, while the latter can pump in your tunes with Bluetooth capability. If you prefer natural ventilation, as well as the RB25’s soundtrack, both power windows unfurl on command. Also operable are power locks, and electric folding side mirrors. The sport mesh material is mirrored in the door cards, and the remaining interior materials are in good condition overall, from the headliner to the carpets which have been protected by a sleek set of OEM mats. Although the cabin is clean overall, we did want to note some minor wear on the steering wheel and driver’s seat bolster. That may seem like a bit of nitpicking on a vehicle of this vintage, and it does little to take away the overall appeal. Also included are a factory spare, Tomei shift knob, and literature from Fortune Auto!
Mechanical Overview
Under the bonnet of this R34, the RB25DET NEO stands loud and proud. There are a ton of positives about this lovely inline six. It’s easy to service, modification-friendly, low vibration, and is fresh off a timing belt and water pump job performed here at the shop! This puts you on track for future maintenance schedules, and we replaced the engine air filter, fuel filter, and exchanged the oil and filter for a bit of a tune up. With NEO VVL technology, this 2.5T feels giddy under full throttle, and sounds great through a NISMO catback exhaust. It sends power to a swapped in 5 speed gearbox. A welcome upgrade over the slushbox it replaced, we installed a new clutch to keep the driving experience as OEM as possible. Brand new Fortune Auto coilovers keep the chassis planted to the pavement, and we bolstered the power steering system with new seals, inner tie rods, and outer tie rods on the rack. To help this R34 ace its VA state safety inspection, we also dropped in new rear HICAS arms, so your four wheel steer system works like a champ. The ABS brakes grab with authority, and we wrapped the Kei Office alloys in brand new rubber. Freshly aligned, this platform tracks straight as an arrow and is planted in the twisties. Stylish, comfortable, and full of grip, you’ll be covered for tens of thousands of miles to come.

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
