The cabin was obviously cared for in a prior life and it really shines when you see it in person. The seats are comfortable and supportive and are trimmed in a textured pattern that could have only been imagined in 90's Japan. The material is soft and durable and lacks any major rips, stain, or tears. The driver benefits from loads of electric equipment, such as functional power-folding side mirrors, electric locks, and windows. These make daily use enjoyable and two power sunroofs are on hand for natural light and additional ventilation. A driver's SRS airbag is standard for some added reassurance when behind the wheel, and the OEM MoMo steering wheel is mounted atop an adjustable column. The view of the road ahead is unobscured and the dash is in good shape aside from two light spots of distortion located in the center. The door cards and headliner have resisted major abuse over the years and the carpets look fine, too. While the head unit is no longer powered, the climate control system located above works just as it should. Boiling hot heat is sent through the cabin, which is a Subaru hallmark. The A/C works as well for the future summer months ahead too. Rear privacy tint will keep the UV rays of the sun off the interior plastics and the OEM cargo separator is rare, and helpful for corralling furry friends!
The EJ20H is a powerful, bi-turbo, 2.0L boxer that turns a pretty pedestrian station wagon into a fire-breathing rocketship. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the four-banger cranks to life thanks to a new 12v battery. It idles with confidence thanks to a newly installed alternator and sounds sublime as all boxer engines do! Power is fed through a slick-shifting automatic transmission and fed through a symmetrical AWD system. The platform returns includible grip thanks to four brand new tires we mounted, balanced, and installed on the aftermarket, lightweight six-spoke alloys. Acceleration is really good and the five-seater never struggles to get up to safe highway merging speeds. The suspension can handle the rigors of daily abuse and one of our trained technicians has installed new left front inner and outer axle boots. The brakes are on point and the steering is light, yet communicative.
