The JZA80 chassis is one of the most instantly recognizable, and no doubt the most sought after 90's Japanese muscle car and for good reason. The design is simply beautiful and has become world renowned, the power plant is unstoppable in stock trim, and untouchable when built. Which is what makes this gem that we uncovered just so special. This early production 1993 coupe comes to us with only 22K verified miles. To top things off, not only is it in completely OEM trim, it was finished in one of the most rare color options out there; Anthracite Metallic (1A1). The exterior on this MKIV remains completely stock and unmodified from the factory (just the way it should be.) But with looks like this there really isn't any reason to go changing things. That Anthracite paint has been well maintained and has a deep luster that really pops in the sunlight. The fit and finish of the body is exceptional, free of any notable issues. Even the factory chrome wheels have been well preserved over the years. The same can be said about the headlights which are prone to yellowing over time.

Much like the body there's not a whole lot of reason to change things up on the interior. The untouched cloth and leather seats are in outstanding condition. The most prone wear spots, like the bolster and seat bottoms, are free of any notable stains, or fading. The rear seats look nearly new, then again this car was built primarily as a proper sports coupe so I can't imagine they've seen much use. The headliner, carpeting, and even original floor mats are devoid of any rips, tears, or notable wear. As per usual with Toyota, all of the power accessories are operating as they should. Fitted with power windows, mirrors, driver's seat, along with automatic climate control blowing cold. It seems that the previous owner loved this car as much as all of us do seeing as all the main wear items like the steering wheel, gear selector, and handles, are all in excellent shape.

The heart of it all is the infamous 2JZ-GTE Twin Turbo 3L. The twin turbo 3.0 straight six makes ample power in stock trim and we all know is capable of much, much, more. The fact that this one has been left untouched over the years is the most impressive aspect. It's rare to find a serious performance car like this that hasn't had the stock air box replaced at some point in time. The 2JZ fires right up and has a very easy idle. As the revs climb it feels as if there is no end to the power band. The power delivery is intoxicating, the sequential turbos spool up quickly producing gobs of power all the way from idle to redline. The A340E 4 speed automatic does a tremendous job handling the power output. Shifts are quick and precise with little hesitation. The automatic does offer a manual shifting mode as well for when you're looking to have a bit more control over the situation. The factory suspension is well balanced and handles the power with very minimal body roll. These cars really are the ultimate sports coupes. With low mileage, all original, examples of the MKIV selling for 100K+ regularly this one is an absolute steal of a car.
