Japanese sports cars in the 90s were all ahead of their time when it came to styling and performance. The Nissan Skyline model, hands down led the pack and has become extremely desirable in North America especially since it was not available in the US. From the sleek aerodynamic front end followed by the timeless coupe bodylines all the way to the signature 4 circled tail lights, there is no question that the prevailing design screams timeless masterpiece. With only a mere 77K verified and documented miles, there is plenty of seat time in the future for the next owner. Fitted with a FRP GTR style front bumper, grille, and rear spats give this GTS25T an upgraded look to its big brother. A shift sports style vented FRP hood and BN style FRP fenders help create an aggressive look before its subtle OEM midrise wing on the back. In Japan, this 1994 coupe was painted a One-off purple you see here, a dramatic switch from the OEM Gun Grey metallic (KH2) which looks stunning in the light. Rock chips and blemishes reflect plenty of road time and are expected for a vehicle of this age. Additionally, the paint on the FRP parts has seen better days upon close inspection. As with any FRP part fitment won't be as good as OEM. Notable repair work includes replacement hood, front fenders, and core support. With a few subtle upgrades and fresh service, this turn-key R33 is ready for the streets here in the US.

The interior on the R33 is refined and more spacious than the previous R32 model. Walking up to the car, you will notice the driver's side seat has been replaced with a Recaro race seat right off the bat. It includes full adjustability with sliding rails as well as reclining capability which retains comfort for the driver while adding support for spirited driving. Custom mounted PLX air/fuel ratio gauge and a Defi boost gauge have been added to help the driver focus on the road and allow a quick glance for readings. Although there is nothing wrong with an OEM steering wheel and shift knob, the previous owner added a MOMO steering wheel paired with RAZO shift knob for better grip and drivability. Dash blemishes are common in most vehicles this age from sun damage in Japan and this GTS25T shows some cracking around the defrost vents. Door cards are missing the trim panel on both the driver and passenger side but don't affect the functionality whatsoever. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are performing as expected. When we tested the folding mirrors, they are inoperable by the controller but are still able to be manually folded in for close parking. Most coupes have a rear back seat that stays in pristine condition of any rips or tears due to the fact that not a lot of people sit back there and this one looks great. A 7' power-folding head unit has been chosen to run the audio inside and everything is displayed in Japanese. A little research on functionality is in order but most replace head units for US spec ones since the radio frequency is different overseas.

Underneath the vented bonnet houses the RB25DET powerplant ready for whatever the driver has in store. Thanks to the new 12V battery installed, this 2.5L has no hesitations turning over with a turn of the key. Apexi air intake and a front mount intercooler help bring in fresh air for the motor to breathe. Full 3" catback exhaust and Greddy downpipe complete the airflow firing out the back which has a low tone until you decide to accelerate to high RPMs. All of which is controlled by a Greddy Emanage ECU. Paired with the RB is a 5-speed manual transmission to help send the power to the rear wheels. Shifts are smooth and seamless with no grinds or slop when accelerating through the gears. Four new tires on all corners were installed on the 18" 5Zigen bronze wheels which complete the overall stance in a combination with Tein coilovers getting the ride height dialed in. Brakes are responsive and stop the car quickly. Additional maintenance performed by our trained technicians includes a new left rear Hicas arm, differential fluid flush with LSD additive, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, new serpentine belts, and a new tensioner pulley. Finally, a fresh oil and filter service makes this RB up to date on service for the next 5k miles.
