Stock #6077It's safe to say we wouldn't be where we are today without the assistance of Nissan's R32 Skyline. The catalyst for the Japanese Classic boom in the United States, we can now look back and see the R32 not only as an icon, but as a formidable choice for an easy to own sports coupe too! Our 1991 is a lovely, unmolested example finished in Spark Silver Metallic (KL0) Set off by a factory rear wing, an OEM optional aero bumper, and tasteful refinished factory alloys, this silver bullet is a nicely preserved looker that shows just a few paint chips and dings from day to day use. We also wanted to note the front bumper and hood were replaced in Japan, but that does little to take away from this GTS-T's appeal as a whole. A sleek, turbocharged coupe with a scant 54k verified and documented miles on the clock, this R32 is the textbook definition of a genuine Japanese Classic! Now that we see a lot of newer Nissans at the shop, we can applaud the simplicity of this R32's cabin as it features just about everything you need and nothing you don't. The upholstery has resisted the better part of three decades without succumbing to any serious wear and tear. A confetti Recaro SR3 bucket replaces the driver's seat and pays dividends as you pummel this GTS-T through backroad twists and turns. The plush cloth on the passenger and rear seats shows well, and the dash is in decent shape despite succumbing to the typical UV bubbling and distortion seen on 32's of this vintage. The center stack is easy to access and the design of the digital automatic climate control has stood the test of time, as it's still easy to use and dole out hot heat at a moment's notice for the winter. The driver gains access to a tilt adjustable steering column, and a MOMO steering wheel upgrade is slim and easy to maneuver. Both power windows work as advertised, and the power locks and side mirrors do too. A Greddy boost gauge is affixed to the gauge hood and reads accurately, allowing the driver to keep an eye on their PSI's. The headliner is clean and taut against the roof, and the OEM carpet mats are even intact to protect against unwanted spills and dirt.. In fact, the only real gripe with this interior is a missing headunit, a cracked shifter trim, and non operational air conditioning. Other than that, it's the ideal performance-oriented cockpit! The RB20DET under the hood is great for a lot of reasons. It's reliable, easy to modify, and is well supported in both the OEM and aftermarket so you can keep this classic on the road. In the meantime, we've taken care of a comprehensive service here in our shop so you can enjoy this turn-key GTS-T from day one. A new 12v battery was installed, we performed an oil and filter service, and then got down and dirty replacing the timing belt and water pump with new units.  We performed a coolant flush and installed a new thermostat to keep this RB cool and with the maintenance performed this one is a treat to putt around town! An Invidia exhaust does a lot to increase the 2.0T's auditory appeal without being too overbearing. We replaced an output seal at the rear differential, and power is sent rearward without a hitch, with a short throw shifter delivering direct and precise gear changes. New swaybar links, traction arms, and tie rod ends shore up the drivetrain significantly, and the Ohlins coilovers deliver a firmer ride while still being comfortable enough for daily use and abuse. The steering is light and we repaired the HICAS system to keep it operable too! Last but not least, we wrapped the refinished alloys in brand new rubber, that not only keeps the ride quiet but should deliver plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
