Exterior Overview
The S15 Spec R is a highly revered import here in the states, and it’s not just because they were forbidden fruit. This nimble, lightweight rear drive coupe is stylish, well built, and athletic on the street, circuit, or winding mountain pass. Far more creative than any USDM ’99 Nissan, this Sparkling Silver (WV2) Silvia is set off by aggressive Dmax Type 2 aero, an OEM aero rear wing, and 17″ Weds TC105N wheels. The cosmetics are in above average shape, and this Spec R should check most every box for the discerning enthusiast, although we wanted to note the trunk lid was replaced at some point in Japan. Better yet, it shows a nice 69k miles on the clock, that are verified to boot. Typically ridden hard and put away wet in Japan, it’s a breath of fresh air to see a tastefully modified S15, and this coupe would excel as a show car standout, drift-inspired daily, or a pampered garage queen. A fan favorite chassis with plenty of potential for performance, this is a standout Japanese Classic, and one of the greatest cars of the late 20th century!

Interior Overview
Nissan nailed the design of the S15 in more ways than just exterior aesthetics. The interior is nicely laid out, crafted with premium materials, and is bolstered with plenty of power equipment to handle the demands of day to day driving. The sport mesh seats have held up better than most 25 year old upholstery, and show no discernible rips, stains, or tears to note. Also in good shape are the dash plastics, and redesigned center stack, which assumes a more ergonomic layout. Digital automatic climate control is on standby, with cold A/C and hot heat, and lies adjacent to a touch screen Clarion headunit, oozing period correct goodness. A full slate of power equipment is also present, with power locks, windows, and electric folding mirrors assisting day to day use tremendously. The remaining interior materials are in good shape, from the anthracite headliner to the matching carpets beneath. The trunk is spacious, and the rear seat backs can fold flat if you need to expand the cargo hold. Overall, there’s little to complain about this S15’s interior condition. The steering wheel shows a bit of wear from normal use, and the factory boost gauge and rear wiper no longer operate. Other than that, it’s ready to be cherished by its new American owner.
