Stock #5973The J100 Land Cruiser is ideal for those who need something safe, spacious, luxurious, and capable. This special 1998 model is just such a vehicle, and this recently serviced V8 hauler is offered with a mere 80k verified and documented miles. For those in the know, that's a fraction of what would be logged on stateside versions retailing for similar figures. Finished in a classy Atlantic Blue Pearl over Gray two tone (8L4), this brute is set off by a new 3" Ironman 4x4 lift, OEM rainguards, a factory rear tire swingarm, and 16" Mickey Thompson wheels. The paint is in good shape aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use and aside from some missing side marker covers, this LC drives even better than it looks. Easy to service, and with a reputation for durability and reliability that are tough to match, you can see why this is such a wonderful Japanese Classic. Well equipped for off-road excursions, yet insulated and quiet on the pavement, this dual-purpose Toyota can't be beat! The cabin is expansive, loaded with equipment, and is in above-average shape. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and dual front SRS airbags are standard. The driver receives a tilt-adjustable steering column and power-adjustable hip bolsters to find the ideal driving position. Cold A/C is on standby with both front and rear controls and if you prefer natural ventilation, electric windows and an electric sunroof can be retracted. Power folding mirrors and power locks make daily driving even easier and work like a charm. A touchscreen Mitsubishi head unit can pipe tunes through the cabin with AUX functionality and is simple to operate. The gray cloth upholstered seats are soft to the touch and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The desirable and rare third row is equipped in case you need to fit a few extra passengers when in a pinch and the middle row can fold forward for an added cargo capacity. The door cards, carpets, and headliner are in good nick and overall the cabin really impresses as a do-anything hauler although we wanted to note some minor carpet stains and missing cupholders for the middle bench. The body on frame underpinnings are built to withstand tons of abuse, and Toyota designed the platform and engine to deal with extreme climates. The 2UZ-FE is a powerful and smooth 4.7L engine, and this one is fresh off an oil and filter service. The powerplant churns to life instantly care of a new 12v battery and a new engine air filter and fuel filter aid ignition. The engine is paired to a slick shifting automatic and power is fed through a full-time 4WD system. For the occasional beach outing or a camping trip in the mountains, a center locking differential, optional rear locker, and low-range 4WD can be deployed. This combination makes this Cruiser nearly unstoppable in less-than-ideal driving conditions and on loose surfaces, but we realize a lot of driving will be done on the pavement. The new Ironman 4x4 lift refreshed the ride and adds a few inches to the Cruiser profile, and we've replaced both front CV axles and axle seals to get the drivetrain into compliance. The ABS brakes feel capable and the power steering is light and on point. 35" Falken rubber was mounted and balanced at all four corners to complete the package and a fresh alignment was performed to enhance tire life! *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
