Nissan built a plethora of executive class sedans that really hit the mark during the '90s. This '95 Gloria sedan is a prime example of just how great a job Nissan did to build a car to stand the test of time. Offered with a mere 55K verified miles, the body of this Artic White (QN0) Gran Turismo model is in good shape aside from a few minor scuffs and dings associated with normal use. Upgraded over the previous generation with a slate of safety and drivetrain improvements, this classy luxury saloon has received a recent service and is fully documented. Touting an affordable entry price and reliable mechanicals, this wonderful Y33 is an incredible value that would make for one truly unique daily driver.
The interior is styled to match the handsome exterior. Understated, yet thoughtful, with a bevy of quality materials chosen during the design process. Unlike most of our vehicles currently available, this Y33 boasts a functional power sunroof and also a set of dual SRS front airbags. Additional power accessories include one-touch windows, locks, and mirrors. Even the driver seat is powered, and like the door cards, is upholstered in a soft textured gray cloth. The dash is in good condition, lacking any cracks, holes, or age-related distortion. Faux wood grain accents break up the neutral interior tones and look nice. The OEM audio works as it should, and the speakers still sound clear. A digital climate system is easy to use, and the aircon blows cold currently. None of the seating surfaces have any major imperfections including rips, tear, or stains. The headliner and carpets are also in good nick, and the OEM plush mats are included in the sale as well. It's likely the cockpit held up this well due to the privacy tint, shielding the harmful rays of the sun from the interior surfaces. The owner's manual is still tucked away in the glovebox, adding a bit of authenticity to the sale.
Under the skin, the Gloria is a huge leap forward from its predecessor. The engine steals the show, and from behind the wheel, the N/A version feels just as fast as turbo Y32s. The chassis ushered in a new era of engines, which became world renown as they gained popularity. The aluminum VQ30DE powers this sled, and benefits from a fresh oil and filter service to keep her happy for another 3,000 miles. To improve breathing, a new air filter has been installed here at our shop. The 3.0L V6 is both compact and punchy, having no issues getting up to US interstate speeds. The transmissions also feel more responsive, and shifts into gear with more urgency than the old slushbox. The OEM suspension is in good shape, and the long-wheelbase makes highspeed stability a strong suit of the Gloria. A new front right bellow boot and tie rod have been replaced to freshen the handling up. The ride quality rivals more expensive models and the steering is light and easy to articulate. The sedan brakes confidently and is aided by a set of four new tires that have been mounted and balanced by one of our trained technicians. They quite the ride down noticeably, and ensure maximum traction regardless of the road conditions.
